"Will GCs actually accept an AI-generated plan?"
The honest answer: GCs accept documents that are complete, site-specific, and cite the right standards, and reject documents that are not. They do not ask how the document was drafted; they check whether it holds up. So that is what we engineered for. Every document passes a three-layer verification pipeline before you ever see it:
- 1. Deterministic checks. Software verifies every 29 CFR citation against a maintained table of 140+ real OSHA standard sections (never the AI's memory), confirms your project details appear throughout, and rejects template artifacts and placeholder text.
- 2. Adversarial review. A second, independent AI reviewer reads the document in the role of a GC's safety manager whose job is to reject it: wrong hazards for the trade, generic content, internal contradictions, invented facts. Documents that fail do not ship.
- 3. The guarantee. If your GC, prequal reviewer, or insurer asks for any change, reply to your delivery email and we revise the document free within 24 hours. Every reviewer comment feeds back into the verification rubric, so the documents keep getting harder to reject.

Who runs TailgateDocs
TailgateDocs is built and run by Karthik Varma, founder of KKV Labs LLC, a Delaware company (131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713). Karthik has more than ten years of sales and product experience in B2B software and builds small, focused products for trade businesses, including a construction document pack for Australia and New Zealand and a workplace risk assessment tool for employers in France.
Karthik is not a certified safety professional, and this site does not claim to be one. That is why the content follows one rule: every safety requirement on this site must come from the regulation text itself, with the citation shown, never from memory.
How the free toolbox talks are checked
- Talks that quote an OSHA standard copy the words from the official eCFR text and link to the exact paragraph. A test in our build fails if a quote does not match the saved eCFR text word for word.
- Injury and citation numbers come only from OSHA, BLS or NIOSH pages, with the link next to the number.
- Every 29 CFR citation in our paid documents is checked against a table of 140+ real OSHA standard sections.
